Benedict Wong appointed as Honorary Chairman of HKCCMA

At the Hong Kong Credit and Collection Management Association (HKCCMA)’s 2024-2025 Annual General Meeting (AGM), Benedict Wong, President & CEO of Total Credit & Risk Management Group; Co-Founder, former Chairman (from 2000-2010), former Executive Councilor and Chairman of the Certification, Complaint and Compliance Committee (from 2000 to 2024) of HKCCMA, was appointed as the first Honorary Chairman of HKCCMA. The current HKCCMA Chairman, Bobby Rozario, presented the honor to him in person.
HKCCMA was founded on 15th December 1999 with its mission to bring the credit, collection and risk management industry in Hong Kong into a new era of professionalism, working with government, business and the community at large, so as to establish the highest standards and work practice.

The purpose of appointing an Honorary Chairman position is to recognize a former Chairman who has demonstrated distinguished leadership in the credit and collection industry and has maintained a strong professional reputation with high ethical standards and integrity over the years.
Criteria for Appointment
- A Former Chairman of the Association for a tenure of at least one full-term
- Continue to be a member of the Association beyond his/her tenure consecutively of no less than 10 years
- Ability to provide strategic guidance and advisory support to the Executive Council
- Unanimous endorsement by the Executive Council
